The rooms at Thomas Fold Cottage were like a dream come true for a karaoke lover like me! They were cozy and had a homely vibe that made me feel right at home. I absolutely loved the two bathrooms equipped with showers - so convenient for my singing sessions with friends!
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the casino in Ambleside. But hey, that's just my taste, others might still find it enjoyable!

The warm and inviting atmosphere of the cottage made me feel right at home. The decor was charming and had a lovely traditional touch, which added to the overall cozy ambiance. The common areas were easily accessible and well-maintained, making it convenient for senior guests like myself to navigate without any issues.
It would have been even more perfect if there were grab bars in the bathroom for added safety and ease of use.

Great location for exploring the Lake District, with plenty of walking and touring opportunities nearby. the cottage was well-appointed, warm, and comfortable, with amazing beds and all facilities in working order. - There was ample room for two people in the four-bedroom cottage, and we had everything we needed for a cozy Christmas stay. - the house had a very spacious layout, with a large bedroom and bathroom downstairs, which was perfect for older guests or those with pets.
It would have been nice if basic supplies like cooking oil, salt and pepper, tea, coffee, and milk were provided upon arrival. This was quite upsetting and made us uncertain about having to move out.

I felt like a tech-savvy queen with their free WiFi and got to showcase my grilling skills on their fabulous balcony barbecue. The nearest airport was so close, I could practically hear the planes take off. The holiday home itself had a cozy dining area and a stove that made me feel like a master chef.
Oh, how I longed for spare toilet rolls and a separate recycling bin! It's not like I wanted to be environmentally friendly and have extra tissue, right?
