The rooms at Thomas Fold Cottage were like a dream come true for a karaoke lover like me! They were cozy and had a homely vibe that made me feel right at home. I absolutely loved the two bathrooms equipped with showers - so convenient for my singing sessions with friends!

Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the casino in Ambleside. But hey, that's just my taste, others might still find it enjoyable!

Guests have praised the cleanliness of the cottage and the attentive service provided by the owner. the surrounding area offers stunning views and plenty of outdoor activities for nature lovers.

One negative aspect is that some basic essentials such as cooking oil, salt, and pepper were not provided upon arrival.

The location was perfect, with plenty of opportunities for walking and exploring the beautiful surroundings. The cottage itself was well-appointed and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day of exploring. Plus, the spacious rooms was awesome, providing ample space for relaxation. Despite the unpredictable weather, the cottage was a great place to stay in, with a well-equipped kitchen for cooking and a cozy living room area. the presence of a large bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor made it convenient for elderly guests or those traveling with a pet.

there was no spare toilet paper provided, which would have been a helpful amenity to have.

The warm and inviting atmosphere of the cottage made me feel right at home. The decor was charming and had a lovely traditional touch, which added to the overall cozy ambiance. The common areas were easily accessible and well-maintained, making it convenient for senior guests like myself to navigate without any issues.

It would have been even more perfect if there were grab bars in the bathroom for added safety and ease of use.

Great location for exploring the Lake District, with plenty of walking and touring opportunities nearby. the cottage was well-appointed, warm, and comfortable, with amazing beds and all facilities in working order. - There was ample room for two people in the four-bedroom cottage, and we had everything we needed for a cozy Christmas stay. - the house had a very spacious layout, with a large bedroom and bathroom downstairs, which was perfect for older guests or those with pets.

It would have been nice if basic supplies like cooking oil, salt and pepper, tea, coffee, and milk were provided upon arrival. This was quite upsetting and made us uncertain about having to move out.

I felt like a tech-savvy queen with their free WiFi and got to showcase my grilling skills on their fabulous balcony barbecue. The nearest airport was so close, I could practically hear the planes take off. The holiday home itself had a cozy dining area and a stove that made me feel like a master chef.

Oh, how I longed for spare toilet rolls and a separate recycling bin! It's not like I wanted to be environmentally friendly and have extra tissue, right?

The location was perfect, just a short walk to town and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The cottage itself was super clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was luxurious. We had more than enough room, even though there were six of us. Despite the bad weather, we made the most of our time indoors and created wonderful memories. I highly recommend this place and would definitely book again.

It would have been nice to have spare toilet rolls and a separate recycling bin.
